1. DASH
Dash coin has been known for attempting to make the most anonymous cryptocurrency. They have rebranded there cryptocurrency a few time, but all for the darkest reasons. Dash coin has been popping up slowly on the dark net in small communities. Criminal Organizations have been using Dash coins due to its healthy value and anonymity for its trace. A user that goes by “arma” on darknet forums assumed to be the Tor guru has been investing a sufficient amount of attraction to the cryptocurrency. Slowly but surely this will be a cryptocurrency that will start branching off to Darknet Markets which will sky rocket the value. The biggest factors also include the supply and demand. Currently there is approximately $6,500,000 coins available for supply (which is not a lot). Which means there is not enough coins for the demand, so grab your coins while you can. It’s bound for the price to go up, to create difficulty in creating a positive demand or the little supply. The supply is bound to decrease every year.
The best cryptocurrrency to invest in will be Dash. First of all let me move away from all the earning stuff and move to functionality and features that the current cryptocurrencies have. Dash is a fork of Bitcoin that comes with InstantSend which provides one of the fastest transactions, a Decentralized Governance By Blockchain system which funds its developers avoiding third party interference in development and private transactions just to name a few.
To achieve most of the unique features above, the Dash network has a second tier network which is called a Masternode. Running a masternode requires a collateral of 1000 DASH which could yield 18% ROI according to this study. This is the best option for a “long term” investment in the cryptospace. Dash is currently priced at $7.69(5–25–16) and has seen some significant development this year with plans by the devs to add better fiat gateways to increase growth and acceptance.
The Dash governance system, although controversial in that it is dominated by a small number of large ‘whales’ who control most of the coins, seems to me to be proving itself effective in funding both core development, broader ecosystem development, and even marketing. This funding could end up being a great help in capitalizing on any increased attention from the Evolution release, and ultimately in reaching out to more mainstream users.
  2. RIPPLE
Ripple is based on shared, public database or ledger, which uses a consensus process that allows for payments, exchanges and remittance in a distributed process. Ripple tries its best to keep it free of charge for any sort of exchange or trade. They will have a hard time with third-parties, but why go to third parties when the officials themselves are offering to trade or exchange with no fee. Ripple has been successful adapting big banks to their system. Professionalism and high quality development is being put into this cryptocurrency. They haven’t even attempted any growth hacking strategies; be sure to invest for when they do implement any type of growth hacking.
Ripple XRP has a good chance of dramatically increasing in value. XRP is a digital asset just like bitcoin. XRP is the native digital asset to the Ripple network. XRP is increasing becoming a way investors can store wealth that is outside of the traditional banking system..It is possible if you start investing in XRP early then its possible to make yourself a millionaire when the price of XRP increases in the future. Many big names have invested into Ripple such as Google and Santander. I have followed the technology since 2013 and have invest £10,000 of my hard earned money into XRP. This guide is to help those interested in getting hold of XRP and investing in the digital currency.
Currently Ripple has teamed up with biggest banks such as RBC, CIBC and more. These banks are currently using Ripple as a Interbank blockchain, but later on it is expected that these banks will be transfering funds more often through Ripples gateway. Ripple is considered to be the best cryptocurrency for long-term investment.
The financing includes participation from new investors including Standard Chartered, Accenture Ventures, SCB Digital Ventures, the venture arm of Siam Commercial Bank, and SBI Holdings. Additional investors participating in the round include Santander Innoventures, the venture arms of CME Group and Seagate Technology, and Venture 51. The addition of notable strategic investors in this round, especially banks who are backing Ripple following hands-on experience with its solutions, provides the company with new counsel and expertise to better serve its growing customer base around the world.
“Our mission is to make cross-border payments truly efficient for banks and their customers, and in doing so, lay the foundation for an Internet of Value where the world moves money as easily as information,” said Ripple CEO & co-founder Chris Larsen, “We’re thrilled to have these world-class investors joining forces with us to help make this vision a reality.”
Existing Ripple investors include GV (Google Ventures), Andreessen Horowitz, IDG Capital Partners, and Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures. Ripple has received a total of over $93 million in funding.
As an industry advocate for the Internet of Value, Ripple sits on the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force Steering Committee and co-chairs the W3C’s Web Payments Working Group.
  3. MONERO
Monero has been known for continuous successful effort to make the most anonymous cryptocurrency. Monero has been known to be used on the Dark nets largests marketplace where millions of sales transactions are processed every month. Businesses and Organizations have been using Monero due to its healthy value and anonymity for its trace. The Monero development team has been working on Paybee. A payment processing gateway for users and merchants to accept a variety of payment methods and get settled and converts instantly to Monero, Bitcoin or Fiat. This will ease the process for more merchants to use Monero and become much more comfortable with the cryptocurrency. Slowly but surely this will be a cryptocurrency that will start branching off to investment firms that do large sums of transfers to dodge public awareness and Darknet Marketplaces and will sky rocket the value. The biggest factors also include the supply and demand. Currently there is approximately 13,00,000 coins available for supply (which is not a lot). Which means there is not enough coins for the demand, so grab your coins while you can. It’s bound for the price to go up, to create difficulty in creating a positive demand or the little supply. The supply is bound to decrease every year.
    • Monero: Anonymous / private Bitcoin. Now, you may think, “What are you talking about, the BTC is anonymous already?” — which is a very unfortunate albeit popular misconception. All BTC transactions can be seen by the public. For example, by giving out your wallet address to someone, the person is able to see all the payments you’ve received and sent. The black market (drug dealers and weapon manufacturers) created a solution for this: basically a software that mixes your coins with other coins. Nevertheless, the software needs to be trusted and may not work correctly. This is pretty bad when your freedom depends on it. Monero has the mixing system built-in — which makes it very delicious for any kind of black market. This is how the currency got its first big growth boost — basically a popular darknet market adopted it. Moreover, the transaction privacy is a necessity for any kind of widely adopted currency, which makes me think it may even overtake BTC. The market capitalization of Monero is currently 1/100 of BTC, which makes it a better investment in my opinion. This is where I put most my of my investment in.
  4. LITECOIN
Litecoin has been around for a very long time and has shown success at keeping a healthy value to its cryptocurrencies. Also the largest Bitcoin wallet provider Coinbase has added the cryptocurrency to GDAX for trading. The longstanding trusted cryptocurrency has been a safe long term investment for quite a while now. Picture Litecoin to be the 5 dollar bill compared to the 100 dollar bill (bitcoin). To have a successful cryptocurrency it needs three things: professionalism, quantitative flow, and trust. Litecoin has it all.

  5. Zcash & Zcoin
After a great deal of hype, many people got burned with the launch of Zcash. Unrealistic expectations, and I suspect a misunderstanding on the part of many traders as to the effects of low coins supply in the early days and how this would change over time, lead to the price of Zcash coins soaring to orders of magnitude higher than a Bitcoin immediately after launch (despite an identical maximum supply), followed by a massive crash in which some people must have lost a lot of money. But despite this, the potential of zerocoin technology is significant. There is little argument that it is the best privacy tech for blockchains, and there is a big market for enhanced privacy in cryptocurrency. At some point the price of Zcash will bottom out, and I suspect that it will be soon. It may even happen around the $50 mark that its hovering above at the moment, as it has already bounced from this price range once. When a solid floor is established and some confidence returns to the market, I can see this one doing well. But even more interesting from my perspective is Zcash’s little cousin Zcoin. Based on the same technology but with a slightly different approach, Zcoin is currently valued at less than 1% of Zcash. This gives plenty of room for very significant appreciation over the next year. Without going into too much detail, the main difference is that Zcoin conceals every part of a transaction except the amount sent, whereas Zcash conceals everything. This means the privacy protection for ZCoin is not as complete, but it does reduce the risk associated with the ‘trusted set up’ which ZCash suffers from and which could allow an attacker who has compromised the set up parameters to create as many coins as they want for themselves without anybody knowing. The Zcoin team are also working on a new mining algorithm to allow mining using an ordinary CPU while at the same time combating the problem of the botnets controlled by hackers which usually end up dominating CPU mined coins.

  1. No mention of Ethereum? Ethereum classic also has a promising future since it is essentially the exact same coin and technology for cheaper (transaction fees and gas for example). Once more devs get on board with ETC the price should peg to about 1/10th of ETH’s price or higher again.

  2. Great post! I was wondering if you could do a similar post w.r.t the current market situation as coins like monero, dash etc have shot up by lots of margin
